National Update on Liver Transplantation was organized by Kamineni Education Society at Kamineni Hospitals, Hyderabad.

The inaugural meet at Indira Auditorium of Kamineni Hospitals, L.B Nagar, Hyderabad on 7th Mar was presided over by Sri Kamineni Suryanarayana, Chairman, Kamineni Group and the dais was shared by ILTS President Elect. M.A.E Ramssay, Organizing Chairman Dr. Satyanarayana , Secretary Dr. KV Subba Rao, Padma Sree Dr. Habibullah, Padma Sri Dr. Nageshwara Reddy and DME Prof. Ravi Raju.

A three day conference on Genetics add Molecular Diagnosis in Modern Medicine was organized by the Kamineni Education Society at Indira Auditorium at Kamineni Hospitals. Inaugural function was presided by Sri Kamineni Suryanarayana garu, dias was shared by Chief guest Dr. Saraswathy Rao former VC Anantapur University, Hospital CEO Dr. Patnaik, Prof. RNK Bamezai, Former Dean, School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Prof. RSK Chaganti from the Sloan Kettering Memorial, New York, Dr. Zeenath Jahan form King Faizal Hospital and Research Center, Saudi Arabia.

On the Occasion of International Women’s Day, Kamineni Hospitals conducted a Health Check-up Camp Exclusively for Women from 6-10th Mar-2009.

In commemoration with World Kidney Day (12th Mar 2009) Kidney Check up Camp was conducted by the department of Nephrology & Urology of Kamineni Hospitals, L.B. Nagar, Kamineni Hospitals, Basheerbagh and KIMS Hospitals, Narketpally.

Tuberculosis Day is being observed every year on 24th Mar world over. To mark the day, all the Hospitals of the group, Kamineni Hospital at LB Nagar, Kamineni Hospital at Basheerbagh and KIMS Hospital held special screening for the benefit of the people in the vicinity for early detection and cure of this disease.
